Join us to hear Neil Rose, Senior Lecturer in Sound Arts, Lecturer Pre-degree: Film, Animation and Media Production respond to key ideas in Oliver Beer's sound installation, Household Gods at MIRROR as part of British Art Show 9 in Plymouth.
The talk will explore acoustics and how sounds behave in the installation along with broader theoretical ideas within the meaning of the work.
He will then contextualise Household Gods by presenting sound works with similar concerns.
