Make work with us
Make Work With Us takes this element of our work and expands it into a key strand, inviting experienced artists with ambitious ideas (to be realised outside of a gallery context) to involve our students, staff and facilities in the realisation and delivery of projects.
Examples of previous projects include:
Matt Stokes, More Than A Pony Show (2017)
For More Than A Pony Show Matt Stokes worked with five local bands (spanning generations of the punk/DIY music scene in Plymouth); alongside a crew of Plymouth College of Art Staff, and graduates.
Erika Tan, Sensing Obscurity (I, II, III) (2012)
Sensing Obscurity had an entirely student and staff crew who worked together with Erika to create this new commission which was filmed on location at Saltram House with a cast of Plymouth based dancers and actors. The team filmed the piece on location at Saltram House, having to navigate challenging elements, including priceless artefacts, no natural lighting and floors that couldn't be walked on!
